Steve Hornstein Gives Excellent Estate Planning Advice

We were very happy to see our friends come together to listen to Steve Hornstein regale us with his stories of Estate Planning Nightmares.  It is indeed scary to see what happens when one does not make plans for the inevitable.

We were all pleasantly surprised by the surprise visit by Councilmember John Lee who let us know that his office is available if anyone is having any difficulties with any branch of government, he would like to help you with those needs.  You can always give his office a call and leave a message.

PATRICK CONLON
Andrea Manning from BNI was our special guest hostess who got the meeting started.

We also had a wheel of fortune drawing for an autographed copy of Mr. Hornstein’s book.

It was great to see Ms. Lisa Haberman from Doggroomers on the Go!  as well as Barbara and Ken Baldwin from Baldwin Tax and Accounting Services.  Also in attendance were Duke Ritter, Lizi Ruch owner of Artfully Equestrian, Kevin Wolf, Dan Rubanowitz, Esq. a wonderful Family Law Attorney, Lucy Capurro from the Child Care Resource Center, Sharon Bronson from Council Member Lee’s office, Jheri Heetland our Chamber Vice President of Operations, and yours truly R. Grace Rodriguez, Esq. Chamber Vice President.  We hope to see more of you very soon.

Next week on Tap:  2/2/2021 – Meet Patrick Conlon  Dir. of Development from WORCS

Patrick got his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Cal State Fullerton. Patrick has owned businesses over the last decade but noticed traditional business structures limited the options of his employees if they made valuable contributions. He became interested in worker cooperatives when he heard Richard D Wolff speak in 2013. This experience inspired him to invite Dr. Wolff to Orange County for another speaking engagement to stir more interest and support in his own area. During the pandemic of 2020 he created the concept of Shop.coop to help support existing worker cooperatives, but also use the surplus to help new cooperatives succeed.
