We are in the Spring/Summer of 2010, and the Chatsworth Porter Ranch Chamber of Commerce continues moving forward with its primary mission in mind:  To support Chamber members through leadership and advocacy by engaging in activities that enhance and strengthen the Chatsworth/Porter Ranch business community, by fostering its healthy growth.

Behind us are several significant Events and accomplishments:  1) A State of the Community Breakfast, with a focus on the Local level; 2) An enhanced and expanded Unforgettable Educator Recognition Event; 3) Upgrades to the Chamber Website including rotating advertising banners for members to expand their marketing efforts, an on-line RSVP feature for upcoming activities, a Community Events Calendar with the option for members to submit events, a Gold Card Directory with searchable categories and names.

Before us are many more activities and projects:  1) A second Annual Multi-Chamber Business Expo; 2) A second Annual Summer Givin’ blood Drive; 3) The Annual Legends and Heroes Luncheon; 4) A State of the Community Breakfast, with a focus on the State level; 5) A revised election procedure that will include on-line voting so more members can have a voice in selection of the Chatsworth/Porter Ranch Board of Directors.

All of these projects are designed to strengthen our community’s businesses, as well as relationships between the businesses and organization within and outside of our community.  Each one of them requires active committee involvement by our members and support of the community.
